Curtis Caswell
Curtis Caswell's narrative paintings center around the theme of the average white male trying to cope and survive in the everyday world. His earlier paintings dealt with him (and all other males) being the cause of all society woes. His latest drawing addresses receiving endless phone solicitations and having to pick up dog poop with plastic bags. The humor is odd and the colors and composition are wacky and the philosophical questions are provoking.
