Jen Thario Objectivity

Jen Thario received her BFA in sculpture from CU Boulder. Adopted as a child, Jen Thario defines herself as a found object. Her art and life both thrive on a vocabulary of metamorphosis, curiosity, reconstruction and identity. She is a Colorado native who lives & works in downtown Denver. Mesmerized by the lingering residues of history, the work created for Objectivity explores ideas of conveyed identity, roles and rituals through found-object assemblages. Elements were accumulated, analyzed and reconstructed. The imagery is not literal but like memory, has become compressed and distorted. Objects and Marks were crafted to create a private language of metamorphosis, subjective to the viewer’s own cultural references.

Theresa Lugo Serendipity

Theresa Lugo is experimenting in varying a theme starting with the same processes and then letting accidents and serendipity provide the differences.
