NATALIE MOORE is a Fine Art Major at the Metropolitan State College of Denver. She joined the CORE internship program in August of 2002. When Natalie is not in class or gallery sitting at CORE she can be found as the President of the Aperture Society Visual Arts Club on Auraria campus. The club has recently hosted the Rocky Mountain Filmless Film Festival that was presented at the Starz film center in November 2002 where her short film along with six other student films were shown.

Artist Statement: Natalie Moore is a photographer and is currently creating images of clothing. Her work addresses the idea that memories are held and buried within the clothing folds, shapes, patterns and history. By using articles of clothing found at thrift stores and flea markets, she links her attraction to a particular fabric or garment to a memory she wants, wanted or will create. "Every photograph I take is a self-portrait, and many times I have to ask myself how that image is a part of me."

JEN GRIGGS SEBASTIAN is a Fine Art Major and MBA graduate student at the University of Colorado at Denver. Jen is a Colorado native and grew up in Boulder. Jen currently lives in downtown Denver with her husband (Matt), dog (Scout) and cat (Izzy). She received her first Bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder in journalism. She joined the CORE internship program in January of 2003.

Artist Statement: Currently I am exploring a variety of themes in my work to try to look at things in a new way ... from a different point of view. As an artist, I am taking this opportunity to explore and use a number of different materials and topics in order to uncover my voice. I work in pencil and pen on paper as well as acrylic on canvas and on paper with collage. Sometimes I use objects and figures in my work and at other times my paintings and drawings are completely abstract. My paintings range from tiny (one inch square) to as large as twelve feet.
