I create by intuitively laying down layers of lines, textures, colors, images and energy. Fused with pieces of earth from stones to soil. Sap to sand. Calling on memories both physical and spiritual, paintings born from a dreamlike recollection of movements, colors, frequencies and textures emerge. Each layer becomes an intrinsic part of the whole, imbuing the piece with the energy of its formation, even if unseen. They are expressions of what sustains, inspires and changes us. They are miniscule moments in time recalled. They are images born of that which compels us to dig deeper. |
