I work mainly in clay and photography. For the last three years I have concentrated on images about the sea and florals. My objectives have been to bring back thoughts of America from the 40's, 50's and 60's; because I am intriged by those eras. To do so, I choose period subject matter: handcolored photography reminiscent of postcards, ceramic wall pockets, sconces and bouquets.

Recent shows have included:

"SEA SEA RIDER"

"A SENSE OF PLACE"

"SHELLGIRLS,ETC."

I have chosen the Raku clay process for my new body of work. The look is quite a contrast to my usual painstaking colorful glaze designs. It has been exhilarating for me to work in such a spontaneous way. The subject matter has remained in the floral theme,
