![]() My work has evolved from everything that I have been exposed to, both practically and emotionally. My imagery includes pop art, surrealism expressionism and contains biographical references that I don't fully comprehend. We live in a world that is full of imagery that is superficial.I have interest in creating artwork that reveals meaning below the surface, which coincides with my current work that is on cardboard and wood. With cardboard I cut and peel the surface to expose the corrugation beneath. On wood I work with silhouette figures that contain other images inside that expose meaning. The silhouette images are versions of modern glyphs or pictographs and are an expression of a spiritual and magical inner need to create.
