In this show I returned to my printmaking roots in exploration of ink meets paper. Monoprints and linocuts in diverse subject matter are enhanced with the applicaion of gold leaf, embroidery and pecial hand-made papers.

Some of my "creations" come to 'light' literally with lighting from within. Each work of 'light' is layered, printed, pierced and manipulated to bring the images to life.

This show was a collaborative effort between three CORE member artists.  Using materials ranging from old photographs, cardboard, fabrics and shadows, and clay, these artists create a sense of place; reimaging their personal backgrounds and exploring how the process of creation arises from who we have been and informs who we are to become.
